Overview
Hanif batted 970 minutes for 337 against the West Indies at Bridgetown in 1958, saving a Test after following on, still the longest Test innings by time. The original Little Master made 499 in first class cricket in 1959, the record for 35 years until Brian Lara made 501. He was the first great batter of Pakistan.
