Brian Lara
375 and then 400 not out, the two highest Test scores of his era
Overview
Lara made 375 against England at Antigua in 1994, the Test record for nine years, and 501 not out for Warwickshire the same season, the first class record. He returned in 2004 to make the first 400 in Tests. His 153 not out at Bridgetown in 1999 to beat Australia is rated among the finest innings ever played.
