Home of cricket since 1814 and headquarters of the MCC
Overview
The ground at St Johns Wood in London is the spiritual home of cricket, with the famous slope running across the outfield. It hosted the 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 World Cup finals and the unforgettable 2019 final, tied and then decided by a super over boundary count. Capacity is about 31,000 and the pavilion remains members only.
