Sher-e-Bangla Stadium
Mirpur national stadium since 2006
Overview
Sher-e-Bangla at Mirpur became the home of Bangladesh cricket after 2006, hosting World Cup matches in 2011. The 2012 Asia Cup final, won by Pakistan over the hosts by two runs, was played here. The pitch is famously slow and low, rewarding spin and graft.
