Andy Flower
Zimbabwe greatest batsman and later a winning England coach
Overview
Flower averaged over 50 in Test cricket for a struggling Zimbabwe side and was briefly ranked the best batsman in the world. At the 2003 World Cup he and Henry Olonga wore black armbands to mourn the death of democracy in Zimbabwe, ending his international career. As England team director he oversaw three Ashes wins and a rise to number one in Tests.
