Overview
Kumble bowled leg spin at fast medium pace with ferocious accuracy, taking 619 Test wickets, the most by an Indian. At Delhi in 1999 he became the second man after Jim Laker to take all ten wickets in a Test innings, 10 for 74 against Pakistan. In 2002 he bowled with a broken jaw in Antigua.
