Overview
Bakewell scored 118 in the 1973 inaugural womens World Cup final against Australia at Edgbaston, a match England won. She completed 1,000 Test runs and 50 Test wickets, among the rare allround doubles of the womens game. She entered the ICC Hall of Fame in 2012.
