Williamson led New Zealand to the inaugural World Test Championship title in 2021, beating India at Southampton. A craftsman of soft hands and late cuts, he scored 8,000 plus Test runs with 32 centuries by 2024. He, Kohli, Smith and Root formed the batting quartet of the era.
